In the Meadow

Hello everyone, isn't time passing quickly. Another week just about to start! I feel like this year has just sped past. Well it was another cold day with more rain, looking forward to a bit of Spring sunshine though.
Went to Shirley's today. My friend Jane wasn't well so was just me and Shirley and of course Doug and the dog. Made 3 lovely cards, a fun time. Thanks, Shirley.
My daughter, Katie, took me out for a meal tonight as a thankyou for all the times I look after her two dogs. We went to an Indian Restaurant and had Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and rice. We also had a couple of entrees and Naan bread and to top it off dessert. It was sort of like dumplings cooked in syrup and served with a very tiny scoop of icecream. Katie ate mine as it was way too sweet for me to have - trying to be good about this Diabetes business. Luckily, they only served one each so she wasn't making a huge sacrifice eating my share.
So, onto my card for today..... The basecard is SU Creamy Caramel, DSP from stash, a white nestie and a maroon one. I stamped the image onto white card, coloured with Copic Markers and mounted onto the DSP and cut out a large circle with my punch. I added a sentiment from an old retired SU set which I think is called "Happy Everything" I did some faux stitching around the edge as well. Did a strip with a Martha Stewart border punch which cuts both sides at once, just fabulous, LOL. and Voila, there you have it.
I am going to enter this in tomorrow's Make It Monday Linky Party#54
Thanks for stopping by and catch you tomorrow.
Take care,
Sandy
