Hi and welcome to my blog. It's a miserable day here in Adelaide. Was very windy early so I thought I would get some washing done and it would dry quickly. Shopping Spree Anyone Challenge #82 613 Avenue Create

Oops, my head is just not on straight. I nearly posted the wrong card with the wrong DT challenge blog. Lucky I realised in time. Today's card is for the new challenge starting at 613 Avenue Create where the theme is Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of using a sentiment!!!
Our sponsors are The Paper Shelter, Scrapper's Delights and Fitztown. I was lucky to be given the choice of a couple of images from The Paper Shelter and I chose ~ Shopping Girl and also used the backing paper that comes with the image to tie it all in together.
I've had a full day first out to church where I sang in the choir for the first time in two weeks and then a Hymn Fest at St. Peter's Cathedral with the larger choir that I am part of. I've come home croaky and I'm still coughing. At least I didn't cough during the singing, only in between! I got picked up by friends and I left my phone in their car. I had to do a mad dash to meet one of them in a Subway Food Outlet. He was buying their tea and then going out within the next half hour, so it was there or really late tonight which I didn't want to do. It's still pretty cold here.
Anyway I had better get a move on as I'm now late with this post.
Here is my card.....

Recipe:
SU Rose Red cardstock for the cardbase
SU Pacific Point cardstock for the matte and punched piece
White card from stash for the image
Image is from The Paper Shelter ~ Shopping Girl
Sentiments are from CTMH and My Favourite Things ~ CK - Enjoy Every Moment
Punches - Large Oval and Scalloped Oval
Bling from stash
Copic Markers
D/S tape roller
Foam Dots

We would love to see you stopping by the neighborhood and adding one of your creations and you will be in the running for one of the fab prizes from our wonderful sponsors.
See you there!!!!
Thanks for stopping by,

Challenge 21 at Completely Christmas

Hi all, hope you have been having a wonderful week. I'm on the tail end of my cold. Still a bit congested and croaky. Hubby has gone away with a mate from interstate for a couple of days so I'm on my own. I was up early to make a cancellation call for my Saturday fitness class and then went back to bed. Our youngest son woke me up at 10 a.m. Then number 2 son came over as well and they decided to test out my new oven by using the grill to make Turkish bread toasties. I declined one as I thought it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. I was trying to get some paper towel out of the cupboard and knocked a whole new bottle of agave syrup on the floor. I was not impressed. I've cleaned it but it still feels sticky so I will have to get the mop and some hot water to do it again. I cancelled my fitness classes for the week and haven't done any walking either. The fitness challenge I was doing officially ends today but because I didn't go I will have to weigh in next Thursday. Her scales measure body fat, muscle etc so I will still have to try and be good for another week. She has two prizes on offer one for the most % of body fat lost and the other the most % of muscle gained. I am not in the running for either of those and will not be joining in a winter 8 week challenge again. Just too hard in this cold weather!!! and I am pretty sure I was the oldest and least fittest of the group.
Anyway....... it's time for another challenge at Completely Christmas and sorry this is another post with another Christmas card. It's July and some of my other DT theme's are Christmas in July..... tis the season half  way mark. Hope your Christmas card stash is growing too.
It's our mid month sketch challenge this week and I'll add the sketch below for you to use.
Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine and I decided to splurge and buy a couple of new images and this is one of them. Hope you like her, I think she is pretty cute.

Recipe:
SU Real Red Cardstock for the cardbase, strips and diecut
White Cardstock from stash
DP from Rosie's Studio Designer Papers - Just Jolly. ( I've had this for ages and wish I had bought more)

Sentiment is from SU ~ More Merry Messages
Nestie Dies - Standard Circles ~ large and small
Copic Markers
D/S tape roller
Foam Dots
Bling from Portacraft

Here's the sketch for you to follow.......

Okay, that's the lot.... youngest daughter has just rung to say she is calling in so I had better get dressed (still in pj's) The DT would love a visit from you so please drop by and leave a comment. We had lots of fabulous entries again this week and it's good to see that some of you are getting prepared early. Come and join in the fun and maybe you will be picked as the winner of the generous prize from Lacy Sunshine.
Oh no.....she is here already. She must have put her foot down on the pedal!!! She is 7 months pregnant and has headed straight to the toilet, lol.

Enjoy your week,

Challenge # 80 - The Happy Christmas Couple dance up a storm

Hi everyone, sorry I'm late with my post, but have come down with the cold lurgy after avoiding it for weeks. I've had grandchildren and our own children breathing over me for a couple of weeks now and thought I was going to get away without coming down with it. I felt a bit off on the way home from our daughter's after babysitting our 4 month old granddaughter. So hopefully she doesn't get it from me. I was fine in the morning so it has come on quickly. I suppose it didn't help much that we went to an outdoor 21st party last night and according to the weather forecast it was the coldest night we've had. It went down to only 2 degrees which is very cold for us here in Adelaide.
Anyway I was languishing on the lounge in the family room with the blanket on and the fire going and realised I hadn't scheduled a post so have had to wrap up in a big scarf and a blanket because it is freezing in here!!!
This week at 613 Avenue Create our challenge is Anything Goes as usual and the optional twist is to make a shaped card. I decided to go with a Christmas in July theme and made a lovely card and then realised I had forgotten to do the twist and had to make another one. Oh well, I've added two cards to my Christmas stash instead of only one....... bonus!!!
Our sponsor this week is Rick St. dennis and I chose this fab image of the famous couple to play with.
I decided to make my card look like part of a house - so I've got the top half of the walls, the roof and the all important part for Father Christmas, the chimney. I found this great paper to make my chimney with and I stuck it on and then cut out each individual brick and stuck over the corresponding one on my paper so it has a raised effect. Lovely tactile feel to it.
Here is the pic........

 Recipe:
SU Real Red Cardstock
SU Very Vanilla Cardstock
DP is from Kaisercraft 61/2x61/2 paper pad Base Coat. Both the roof tiles and brick paper were in this pack.
Image is from Rick St. dennis - Christmas Couple
Sentiment was an internet find - a freebie site I think
Copic Markers
Puff 3-D paint - I used this on Father Christmas's outfit.
D/S tape
Foam Dots
Bling from Kaisercraft

Well, that's it from me. I think I need to head back to the fire and maybe a hot drink. We would love to have you visit the neighbourhood this week and add one of your creations. You could be the winner of the fab prize from Rick St. dennis or be picked as one of the top three. The DT would also be happy to see you visiting our blogs and maybe leaving a comment too.
Have a good week and stay healthy, lol.

Challenge #20 Three Caroling Mice

Hi again, chilly today and I had an early start. Had to be at exercise class by 8 a.m. so was up at 7 a.m. getting frozen before hopping into a lovely hot shower. An hour at class and back home to go with hubby to a motorbike shop in town to buy a helmet for me. He bought one a week ago a sparkly silver helmet and wanted to get me one the same (I didn't really like it much, lol, looked like a big sparkly bowling ball!!!) Anyway I have a small head and had to get an XS size, and there weren't any in that size and they couldn't get them anymore either. Here I am thinking, yeah!!!. I bought a different one and hubby was not impressed. He tells me the whole idea was to be matching his helmet and the bike. I've only been on his bike once in the last 30 years or so. We'll see if the helmet ever sees an outing, lol.
I'm heading out to visit my daughter and youngest granddaughter so I had better get on with this post and stop chatting.
Our sponsor at Completely Christmas this week is Di's Digital Downloads and I hopped over to the shop and bought this fun image of 3 mice out caroling in the snow. We would love to see you entering a card, tag, or decoration. Anything Christmas goes.

Here is my card........

Recipe:
SU Chocolate Chip cardstock for the basecard and punched border
SU Pistachio Pudding cardstock
White cardstock from stash

Anything Goes and a DT call at Aud Sentiments

Hi everyone, another cold day today (what can you expect, lol, it is winter here!). I hurt my foot on Friday so have been hobbling around a bit. Hopefully it will improve quickly. I had PT today so ended up just doing some upper body weights using the bench press instead of being on my feet. LOL, you can just lie there on the bench but you still have to work those arms!!!
The challenge at Aud Sentiments this week is Anything Goes and we also have a DT Call. If you would like to work with our wonderful team we would love to hear from you so head over to the blog and enter a project and add DT after your name and if you are one of the lucky ones, someone will notify you. Just check out the requirements listed first on the challenge blog.
Our sponsor for this week is the ever popular Rick St. Dennis and I chose this cute little girl called Petrinka to make my card with. The card design has been cased from a magazine with  a few slight layout changes.
